Her path to AVID
She lived the reason this firm exists.
Marina isn’t just on the team — she’s Aaron’s sister. When their family went through the loss that inspired AVID, she experienced firsthand what happens when a family faces the probate courts without a plan: the paperwork, the waiting, the stress layered on top of grief. In 2019 she joined the firm with a simple mission — help keep other families, and especially their kids, out of that courtroom.
Her background is an unusual — and unusually effective — combination. A psychology degree from Arizona State University taught her how to listen to people navigating hard decisions, and hospitality training at Johnson & Wales University (baking and pastry arts — yes, really) instilled a level of care and precision most law offices never see. The result: clients routinely tell us Marina was a primary reason they chose AVID, because from the very first call she was helpful, responsive, and human.
Day to day, Marina coordinates client services and legal operations — consultations scheduled, questions answered, signings organized, files complete, and every matter moving without you having to chase it. If something at AVID happens on time (and it does), Marina is usually the reason.
Marina supports clients with scheduling, communication, and coordination; she is not an attorney and does not provide legal advice.
