Accessibility Statement
AVID Esq. Group LLC is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we serve our community, and we treat it as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
Our goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We regularly review our site and work to meet or exceed these guidelines. Because we update our content often, some areas may reach this standard before others; when we find something that falls short, we fix it.
What we’ve done
Our website is built on our own custom design, which lets us bake accessibility into the site itself rather than relying on a third-party add-on. Steps we’ve taken include:
- Clear page structure with proper headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate easily
- A “skip to content” link and full keyboard navigation, with visible focus outlines
- Color combinations chosen to meet AA contrast standards
- Respect for the “reduced motion” setting for visitors who prefer less on-screen movement
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
- An on-page accessibility toolbar (described below)
The accessibility toolbar
Look for the accessibility button in the lower-left corner of any page. Opening it lets you adjust the site to your needs, including options to:
- Increase the text size
- Turn on higher contrast
- Highlight all links
- Switch to a more readable font
- Pause on-screen animations
Your choices are saved on your device, so the site remembers them the next time you visit.
Known limitations
A few features on our site — such as online appointment scheduling and certain intake forms — are provided by trusted outside partners and displayed within our pages. We don’t fully control how those tools are built, so their accessibility may vary. If you ever have trouble using one of them, please reach out. We will gladly help you directly and make sure you can schedule, submit information, or get answers another way.
