Planning in Florence
The courthouse is close. That's not the same as convenient.
Here's Florence's odd distinction: when a Pinal County resident dies without a working estate plan, the probate is filed at the Superior Court right here in town. Proximity changes nothing about the process — it's still public record, still commonly months to a year, and still a judge overseeing decisions your family could have owned. A revocable living trust, properly funded, transfers your home and accounts privately, with no filing at all.
Florence's two populations need two different conversations. Anthem at Merrill Ranch retirees often arrive with out-of-state documents that only partly work under Arizona law — healthcare directives, the mental health care power of attorney, and community property treatment all differ here, and we update only what actually needs it. Younger Florence families need the foundations: guardianship nominations so a judge never chooses who raises the kids, and a trust so life insurance reaches children through a trustee you picked instead of a court-supervised conservatorship.
And you don't need to make the drive to us: consultations, plan design, and document review all work fully virtually, with signing logistics coordinated to your schedule. Our Gilbert office is there when you want to sit across a table. Every plan is a flat fee, quoted before we start.
